Why Hire A Professional Nanny
NNCS provides nannies who are professionally trained,
experienced, full or part time, live in or live out. All
nannies are either graduates of an ACNS approved Nanny
School or are individuals with comparable education and
experience. We also provide Nanny/Housekeepers, who although
not professional trained, demonstrate the same commitment to
the childcare profession as the professionally trained
nanny. Competent and experienced, they will provide your

Nanny Job Description & Salary Benefits

A. Children
1. Everyday care
2. Stimulate children through age appropriate activities.
3. Work with children to achieve fullest developmental potential.
4. Clean up after children and self.
5. Children’s laundry
6. Maintain children’s bedrooms
7. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
8. Transport children to outside activities.
B. Household (Depends
on the workload.
(Children always come first!)
1. Light housekeeping,
dusting, and vacuuming.
2. Some meal preparation for the family.
3. Errands/Grocery shopping
C. Care of other
children
1. Inviting other
children over to play for the day is expected.
2. If out of town guests or stepchildren will be staying for more than three
days and the nanny is expected to care for the children full-time, the nanny
should be compensated.

A. Live-in Nanny
1. Approximately 9-11
hours per work day.
2. Two days off per week. (These should be consecutive)
3. When family is out of town for seven or more days, the nanny should have
a back-up system to relieve him/her for at least one day every seventh day.
4. When the nanny travels with the family, he/she should also be given
appropriate time off.
B. Live-out Nanny
1. Approximately 8-10
hours per work day.
2. Every Saturday and Sunday off, with occasional weekend work.
3. If the Nanny stays at home while parents are out of town, Nanny should be
financially compensated and have a back up system similar to a live-in
Nanny.
4. If nanny travels with the family, she/he should be given appropriate time
off.

A. Live-in Nanny
1. Based on the number
of children, responsibilities, number of hours and the level of experience
of the nanny. Salaries range from $450.00 to $800.00 per
week.
2. Benefits should include social security match, withholding of Federal and
State taxes, one to three weeks paid vacation, three to five sick-pay days,
medical health insurance, holidays off, reimbursement for use of their own
car on the job, or a car provided to the nanny to be used on and off of the
job.
B. Live-out Nanny
1. Based on the number
of children, responsibilities, number of hours and the level of experience
of the nanny. Salaries range from $500.00 to $900.00 per
week.
2. Benefits are the same as a live-in
C. Part-time Nanny
1. Salary based upon
number of children, responsibilities and level of experience of the nanny.
Typical salaries range from $12.00-$20.00 per hour. Tax withholdings
recommended; additional benefits optional.

coordinator.
How Do I Hire A Nanny
Complete and return an application form. We will contact
you promptly to further discuss your needs. You will then
have the opportunity to have several in-depth interviews
(either in person or by phone) with your chosen candidate.
The placement fee is paid at the time of hiring.

Replacement/Refund Policy
NNCS has a 90 day replacement/refund policy. We will make
