takes only seven months to complete our nanny training course and become a Certified Professional
Nanny (CPN). Learn how to create an enriching and fulfilling

Northwest Nannies Institute is nationally recognized as a
leader in the in-home childcare field. The school is
licensed by the State of Oregon as a private career school
and approved by the US Department of Education as a Title IV
School. NNI is approved by the US Immigration and
Naturalization Service (INS) and is approved for the
training of veterans. In addition, NNI is a charter member
of the American Council of Nanny Schools, ACNS, (1985);
International Nanny Association, INA, (1985); Accrediting
Council for Continuing Education and Training, ACCET (1988);
and the Oregon Private Schools Association.
Northwest Nannies Institute is dedicated to training
competent childcare professionals for today's working
families. Our nationally acclaimed curriculum offers
students the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge,
and experience needed to be professionals in this growing
and exciting field. Courses are taught by highly educated
professionals who are all experts in their fields. Classes
are small with lots of individualized hands-on training.
There is also a practicum experience which gives students
the opportunity to work in real life settings.

Nanny Curriculum
The NNI curriculum consists of a 30 week nanny training program
with individualized instruction, opportunities for personal
growth, and extensive hands on experience working with
children and families.
The NNI course of study was designed by a panel of experts
in their respective fields...pediatrics, social work,

249 HOURS OF STUDENT PRACTICUM
The Practicum provides students with supervised "hands
on" experience in family and day care/preschool settings.
Students learn to apply their newly learned skills and to
plan and conduct appropriate activities for infants and
children.

Financial Assistance
NNI is committed to finding a payment option that will
fit your individual needs.
Students attending Norwest Nannies Institute can qualify
for U.S. Department of Education Title IV funds and Veterans
Administrative (VA) funds. Students may qualify for PELL
Grants as well as low interest Title IV STAFFORD loans. Some
students are even able to use Title IV funds for the entire
cost of their schooling.
Other funding options include Veterans Administration
funds for veterans and children of veterans; Tribal Funds.
